29th August 2005 Windsurfing: Borth Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 16-18 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 14ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: 23.4 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 12.4 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) A quick early morning session. I forgot to take my key to the gate with me so decided to launch from further down the beach instead. Nicely powered up with my big sail for a nice cruise. Better than yesterday anyway. I little strange to be sailing on a different part of the beach and it was also feeling a little chilly this morning... Summer is on its way out. Chris was out kiting at the Golf Course Car Park as I drove home.... or at least, I could see his kite above the dunes so I assume he was at the other end of it! |
